Acoreder Lab came up with the KeyDefender application to help all the users out there who are afraid a keylogger might steal their data. KeyDefender encrypts your keystrokes, thus protecting against keyloggers - it basically prevents them from recording your keystrokes.

The KeyDefender installation file is little over 6MB in size. Download and run this file and you’ll be able to install it on your PC – 32 and 64-bit editions of the Windows operating system are supported. There’s nothing complicated about the installation process; a few clicks are all it takes to get KeyDefender up and running.

KeyDefender’s interface is a floating bar that looks rather interesting. On it you will find buttons for starting and stopping the keystroke encryption process, for accessing the Settings menu, checking for updates, and accessing the Help menu.

To enjoy the keylogger protection KeyDefender has to offer is as simple as clicking a button. To get the application to do its job, you need only click the Start Protection button on its interface. There are two other ways to start the protection: from the system tray icon or by using a hotkey. You can right click the KeyDefender system tray icon and select the Start Protection option from the context menu that shows up. Or you can hit the Ctrl+Alt+K hotkey – this is the default, but you can change it to something else if you want to.

KeyDefender is free to try; for an evaluation period of 30 days you can use KeyDefender for free.

While KeyDefender is running, you can rest assured that no keylogger will be able to record your passwords and other confidential data.

Pros

KeyDefender works with 32 and 64-bit Windows editions. It features an interesting interface that doesn’t get in your way. There are three ways to launch the protection process: from the interface, from the system tray icon, or by using a hotkey.

Cons

Free to use for a 30-day trial; nag screen.
